Making their first appearance at Animales, The Wandering Suns serve up a feel-good mix of country rock, Americana, and harmony-filled favorites.

The Wandering Suns bring together Dave Boquist (Son Volt), Kent Militzer (ELNO, Paris 1919), Brian Just (Brian Just Band, Just Luv, Inc.), Clay Williams (The Dieselfitters) and other longtime Twin Cities musicians to explore the country-rock sounds they grew up loving. With roots in The Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers, Neil Young, and Manassas, the band mixes original songs with favorite deep cuts, all tied together by harmony singing and an easygoing chemistry. Formed by former members of Local favorite The Blackberry Brandy Boys, The Wandering Suns keep the spirit of classic West Coast Americana alive in Minneapolis!
