Emily Haavik is a singer-songwriter from the shores of Lake Superior, now based in Minneapolis. Her 2024 album "Wingspan" was dubbed "utter perfection" by Adventures in Americana and garnered her two Midwest Country Music Award nominations for Album of the Year and Songwriter of the Year. Haavik is backed by Dave Mehling, Beau Jeffrey, Sheldon Way and Eric Carlson, forming a tight, shimmering Americana outfit.
